How the salary calculation works
Your gross salary is the total amount you earn before deductions. It can include your basic salary and regular allowances. Net salary is the amount remaining after the deductions entered into the calculator.
Salary formula
Net Salary = Gross Salary − Total Deductions
Example
If your basic salary is SAR 8,000 and your allowances are SAR 2,000, your gross salary is SAR 10,000. If your total deductions are SAR 750, your estimated net salary is SAR 9,250.
Gross salary vs. net salary
Gross salary represents your earnings before deductions, while net salary represents the amount remaining after the deductions included in the calculation.
